Some people avoid considering flameless candles because they want something that looks real. What they don’t know though is that most flameless candles do look very real. It all depends on what you buy but if you go after high quality then you won’t have any trouble in this area.

Some flameless candles offer a top that looks like the lit part of it is flickering. That is a great way for get some realism out of them. They are very hard to distinguish from real candles. A person has to get up very close to them and check, but most people won’t. They will assume they are real candles and they will keep their distance so that they don’t get burned.

There are flameless candles that look like they are real due to the look of the wick. Some of them look black which gives the impression that they have been burned. Of course the only way to get a burned wick is to light the candle right? This is what gives it the look of being very real.

The was can be another factor when it comes to flameless candles and realism. Some of them have a soft area on top that is looks like a real candle does when it has been burned. Others have classy looking beads of wax down the side of them. This is what a real candle can do when it has been burned. However, you don’t have to deal with messy wax in the mean time.

What can be shocking to people though is where you place flameless candles. Since they aren’t a risk of heat or fire they can be placed in more places than real candles. However, other people that see them in such areas are going to think you are crazy. They  may even comment that you aren’t’ being safe because they think you are using real candles in those areas.

You can put their fears to rest though and let them in on your secret. Chances are you can have a good laugh with them about it as well. Flameless candles look very real and that is the goal you have in mind when you place them!

If you still aren’t convinced about how real flameless candles can be, you need to see some in person. Once you do so you will be taken in by them and encouraged to buy them. Chances are you may have already been around flameless candles – you just assumed what you were looking at was real!
